How are criminal history records created?

You have a criminal history record in the State of Florida if you have ever:

    • Been arrested and fingerprinted.
    • Been issued a Notice to Appear in court.
    • Been issued an indictment (also known as “true bill”).
    • Had an information filed against you.
    • Been issued some other charging document, requiring you to appear in court to answer for an alleged criminal matter.
